Moving to nz?

okay so im 18 and i move to New Zealand from England in about two weeks! i am so nervous! i guess everybody gets like that but i think its just starting to hit me that i am actually going! i dont know if there is anyone around my ages or with the same experience that has any advice????

  1. Well thats fantastic, but it would have been better if you put your question under the "New Zealand" catagory and not "Australia". There is nothing to be nervous about at all. Auckland is the largest city and still small - 1.2m. Everyone is very laid back, and coming from the UK, there is no chance that you will get lost here. You will also find it very cheap to live comared to where you are from, so nothing to be concerned about at all. They literally give away jobs here also. Just lie on your CV because they don't ever check them, or even care. Not even for top government positions.


  2. You'll be fine. You may need to look up some of the kiwi lingo although (don't want any awkwardness). Lots of people describe us as laid back and depending on where you live the country is beautiful. The capital is Wellington although the largest city is Auckland. Both cities are in the North Island. Be sure to check out the South Island too like sunny Nelson or busy Christchurch or chilly Dunedin. You should settle in just fine.
