  1. you should kidnap her

    :)

  2. For Canadaians it's easier to get a VISA to visit the US.  She still has to apply in Canada and have someone from her family sponser her.  They need to be here legally and make at least $28,000 to be able to support her.  That's if that person doesn't have any other family to support.  SHe can always apply for a student visa if she is interested in coming to school here.  But she needs to be enrolled into a school.  She if she was over 18 it would easier.

  3. she can only legally move to the US by:

    1. sponsorship by USC/LPR parent or brother/sister which will take some time depending on the sponsor and status

    2. marriage to a USC

    3. work visa

  4. dunno

  5. The only way a 17 can legally move to the US is with the parents  because she is still a minor.

Even if she could get a visa she would still need a sponsor.  Her best option at this point is to apply for a student visa.  In order to get this she must be accepted at a university in the US and be able to show proof of funds during her stay.  A student visa is only temporary (lasts the length of the study program) and she would have to leave after that.

You are really in a hard situation.  Your gf will not be able to just pack up her things and show up in the uS.  She needs a status to stay -----anything else would be considered illegal.

About adoption--would her parents agree to give her up for adoption?  Would your parent's agree to adopt her?  What about if later you married her---she is now your sister.....

I don't really know about international adoptions and it would not likely be able to happen before she is 18.  These matters take months and sometimes years to finalize.

If you want to go that route and everyone agrees then----go fo it.
