Mmk, so I'm 13 and I've been a pescetarian for 8 months now. At the end of this year, I want to become a straightup vegetarian. Anything I should notice different about my body or any tips I need to make the change? Thankyou

  2. lol 13 yo vegetarian..lmao you will be SO unattractive to men...

  3. I can't say, as I never ate fish much when I was an omnivore.

Check out the Vegetarian Resource Group (www.vrg.org) for nutritional information.  You might also want to Google "teen vegetarian" for more tips.  Also Google "vegetarian starter guide"; there are many organizations that send out these guides.  Find the one you like best and order from them.

Vegetarian Resource Group has published a handful of cookbooks, one called "Conveniently Vegan," which has recipes based on ingredients you can find in most conventional grocery stores.  Hopefully, you'll be able to cook some meals with your parents' supervision.

But the tips for being a healthy vegetarian are remarkably similar to the tips for being a healthy omnivore, which is Eat a balanced diet.  Duh.

  4. oh goodness. i was pescetarian FOREVER before turning complete vegan. it still is tough. but dont need to really change anything. you wont really notice anything different, just make sure you get protein from plant sources, oil from..well oil sources. when i couldnt go get real sushi anymore i now get avocado sushi. haha :)
