Mower oil?

what type of oil should i use for a Lawn Boy push mower? ive been using 10w30 but im no too sure if i should be usin a differnt type

I would go with what the manufacturer says or a straight 30 weight oil.

I thought Lawn Boys were two cycle engines that need oil/gas mix. Lawn Boy makes a good two cycle oil but any brand will do. 4oz to a gallon gas is what I used when I had a lawnboy

If by chance it is a 4 stroke engine use straight 30 weight oil multi viscosity oils tend to burn in small engines.
