Mowing lawn question?

In New England where it snows when does lawn mowing season end? like month. I'm 14 and don't want it to end so i can make more $$$.

  1. By the end of September, lawn mowing season will be over. Pretty much when the leaves start to fall and accumulate. The very latest it would go would be end of October. Usually there has been a snow by then but even if not, its too cold for the grass to grow after that point usually.

  3. Congrats on your business! It shows a lot of integrity at 14 for you to be out there working and earning.

    Here is a thought. Most of your customers that pay you to mow would most likely pay you to shovel or snow blow their driveways/walkways as well! In between the mowing and snow removal, they will also need leaf raking and fall cleanup. Sounds like you could be busy year around making cash!!

    Most likely you will be done around late Sept. or early Oct. But make sure all your lawns are cut short before the snow flies.
