  1. well first off you are going to ireland at the right time if you are interested in mowing.  All the farmers are busy at the silage. and loads of lawns need cutting!

As regards work and accomodation.  You may have some problems.  However, just buy one of the evening papers in dublin or check in supermarkets for accomodation.  There will be plenty of places listed,  Accomodation is expensive unfortunately.  Expect to pay 100 euro a week or there abouts plus electricity gas etc.  If you know people already in ireland then try and stay with them or with friends of friends till you get started in work.  Ireland is a very expensive place to live.  So be warned! cigarettes up near five euro and a pint is nearly 4 euro!  Jobs will be advertised in evening paper as well and job agencies are a good place to look.  IF you are in europe then check out agencies recruiting for ireland through the internet.  You could have a job arranged for you when you land.  How good is your english.  the better it is the more options you will have when looking for work

    Have fun if you go.

  2. Getting a job in ANY occupation in Dublin is easy. They have so many jobs here that there is no reason for someone not to be working, they are throwing jobs at people there are that many.

Wages are good across all areas, I have a friend who works in Security and he is on €11.00 per hour. It’s not the best, but you can live off it.

Accommodation is expensive, VERY expensive. I live in new 1 bedroom apartment and the rent is €1,100.00 a month.

It will be a lot cheaper for you to share with a group of friends or something; the best places to look for places to rent are on
