http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/David-c10409 Moyes believes that Sunderland have the edge going into the FA Cup quarterfinal match, but believes that the Black Cats will be given a run for their money.
Earlier, a 1-1 draw at Goodison Park set the rematch at the Stadium of Lights but the Toffees boss thinks that his counterpart will be feeling more pressure, playing at home.
"I think the pressure does go back on them. I felt it a little bit when we played at home," Moyes said, while talking to reporters.
However, he said that his side faces a difficult task of beating Sunderland, as the Black Cats have been in really good form this season.
"They will see a good part of the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684 has been done and they have probably got themselves in the favourites position because they have been very good at home under Martin, so we know it will be a tough game," he added.
Sunderland came under new management, after Martin O’ Neill took charge of the club in December, 2011 on a three year contract. Under his leadership, he guided the Black Cats to 12 wins and 5 draws in 22 matches. During this period, he led his side to a
win against then league leaders, Manchester City and guided his side to a FA Cup win against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 in the fifth round.
Currently, Everton and Sunderland both have 40 points from their 30 matches but the Toffees are ahead of the Black Cats in the table on a better goal difference. The winner of their FA Cup quarterfinal match will meet http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 in the semi-final at Wembley.
"It would be great. It is something I would really look forward to," said Moyes.
The last time Everton played at Wembley, was in the final of the FA Cup against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 in 2009. However, the Everton boss said that it is too soon to talk about a visit to Wembley as his side still needed to come up good against Sunderland.
The Toffees have been in a good form in the last two months, losing just 2 games out of their last ten league matches, while they also managed to beat Blackpool 2-0 in the fifth round of the FA Cup in February.
Moyes, whose side will play their 6th game in 18 days, believes that his side have been subjected to a tough schedule, with injuries causing selection problems for the Scot. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jack-Rodwell-c17462 and Seamus Coleman remain doubtful as both the players are
suffering from an injury.
The Everton boss ended by stating: "When you've got that amount of games, it's going to [affect the players].”
