The Merseyside club were held on to 2-2 draw by the Cottagers at Craven Cottage, despite creating myriad opportunities during the match.

However, a stoppage time goal from Steven Sidwell left Moyes frustrated, as Fulham salvaged a point right at the death.
Although the Goodison Park chief will see the result as two points dropped by his team, it still lifted them to the fourth spot on the table. They are now level on points with Tottenham Hotspur, but are ahead of them on the virtue of a better goal difference.
Anyhow, Moyes expressed his disappointment over the result. The manager was left ruing the chances that the Toffees missed during the course of the match, and admitted that he was stunned by the late strike from Sidwell.
“I can't believe that we've only got a draw out of that, but give Fulham credit, they kept at it,” he told the reporters.
“We were incredibly wasteful in front of goal, but the way we played, the chances, the opportunities, when we played that well last year the difference was we had Jelavic finishing off the chances.”

They now trail leaders, Manchester United, by 7 points.
Moyes warned his side that if they are to fulfil their dream of finishing inside the top-four, they cannot afford to let the matches slip away like on Saturday.
He also said that the margin of error in the Premier League was minimal and called upon them to develop a habit of cashing in on the opportunities especially in the away fixtures.
“Winning away in the Premier League is very hard, against any side, and we should have won this one quite comfortably and we didn't,” he added.
