Even though the Toffees went into the game on a better form than the Potters, Moyes expressed his satisfaction to pull out a result from the tricky fixture.

Stoke on the other hand, had won only a single game out of their last eight, before the Tuesday fixture.
While talking to reporters, Moyes said: “I thought that we played very tonight and that we were maybe a wee bit unlucky not to take a bit more from it, but taking a point here isn’t the worst result.”

Nevertheless, Moyes admitted that the Potters defence was hard to crack throughout the game, but believed that his side could have won the game.
“I thought we played some really nice football at times, kept the ball well. But it's always hard breaking Stoke down and they're always a threat, and they were a threat, two or three of their throw-ins went in and were headed just over the bar, so that
was close.” He added.
A point on Tuesday all but confirmed Everton a place in the top ten this season and even though the Scott was pleased with the performance of his team, he thought that their current position in the league is not a true depiction of their potential.
He said, “Certainly with our form from January we're better than top 10.”
