Pienaar, who has now completed his loan term at Everton, is set to return to White Hart Lane. However, Moyes unearthed that he brought up the matter of the South African footballer in front of the chairman and that steps are being taken in order to keep
him at Goodison Park.
He added, “We are addressing the Pienaar situation. [Kenwright] wants him to stay, I want him to. It will be down to finances.”
