The 49-year-old Scott was of the opinion that teams cannot afford to take their foot off the pedal in a tournament as competitive as the Premier League, and wants the Toffees to continue from where they left off before the international break.
The Merseyside outfit will square off against Mark Hughes men at the Loftus Road Stadium on Sunday, who are currently pitted at the bottom of the table.
The London-based team are yet to record their first win of the season and have managed only 2 points out of their first 7 matches.
In sharp contrast, Everton have gotten off their campaign in a sublime manner. The Goodison Park unit have only suffered a single defeat so far. At the moment, they are lying in the fourth place in the table.
Even though, on paper, the fixture might appear to end up as a lopsided affair, Moyes dismissed the notion that it will be a walk in the park for his side.
Instead, he warned them not to allow complacency to creep into their games and give due respect to their opponents.
“You're always worried about any side you have to play in the Premier League, whether they've won all their games or none, because everybody is competitive,” he told the club’s official website.
“We go to QPR knowing they have a very experienced side with lots of good players and we're going to have to play very well.”
Everton have been particularly impressive in the frontline, with the likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Kevin-Mirallas-c20751 wreaking havoc with defences time and again.
Following a two-week EPL hiatus, Moyes feels his team might find it difficult to continue with their blistering run, as they will be playing away from home.
However, the Scott believes these were the kinds of hurdles they need to overcome, if they are to stand any of challenging for a Champions League berth.
“We've probably created as many chances as anyone in the Premier League. We're certainly up there with the main teams doing that, but we've got to make sure we're harder to beat,” he added.
