OK, So I'm using Firefox because its really fast, however whenever I try to download add-on's/ it says "restart Firefox to complete your changes." This has always popped-up, but recently every time I restart Firefox it's as if nothing happened, the add-on's are on the menu but it still says "this add-on will download when Firefox restarts." I've restarted it nearly 15 time now, I have terminated the process and reboot it, I even re-downloaded it! Nothing seems to work, help me?

  1. What add-on is it? It might be faulty. Or you might be running limited account, cannot install.

  2. if you have spybot on your  computer, it could be manually set to not allow firefox to install these add-ons. My guess is that you accidentally clicked never allow, and now the window doesn't even come up asking if it can make the changes.

I'm not really sure what is happening otherwise, maybe you have used up a percentage of the memory on your hard drive, and your computer doesen't have the room to make this work
