Mp4 player help?

I have an mp4 player that is 1GB and I downloaded like about 35 songs and some of most of them are like 4 minutes some 3 min and some 2 min and 1 that is 6 min

and it says theres only 17MB remaining, why is this?

check your file size for each songs......not the length of the song....

if they are those mp4 players that try to copy i pods, when you put a song on it and then erase it, the memory is not given back to you so if it is those and erased a song,thats the problem
