Mp4 player not playing any format movie HELP PLEASE

Question

OK well, I got this samsung MP4 Player not sure what model cause its a copy from china? !! :D

LOL everything works Great, But I cant add any movies or videos etc on it, it came with a pre installed movie and it played great, I've tried heaps of formats for the movies i wanted to install and still aint working !!! :(

The videos and pictures i take with the mp4 player works brill, and the music is good quality.. Help please, any suggestions would be great!!

"If the movie is already in the correct format (mpg, mpeg), then all you have to do is use the movie conversion software that came with the player to get it in the right format to play on your player. If the movie is not in the correct format to begin with, then you will need special conversion software to convert it into the right format. You usually have to purchase this type of software. Popcorn from Roxio is an example of this type of conversion software."

You could have checked what's the format of the preview movie. I mean, it sure is strange, but mp4 players usually don't play mp4 videos, and mine -not samsung- only plays amv. You could try finding something about it on the MP4 manual, or search on Samsung's website :/
