Mpeg download to Mp3 form?

Question

I am trying to download a song from myspace.com onto my itunes (I have a PC). However, whenever I play the song on itunes, the song skips because its an Mpeg4. I tried to convert the file on itunes but it didn't work. So how can I convert the Mpeg to an Mp3?
