Mpg on a 78 f250?????

I'm looking to buy a 78 f250 4x4

its fuel injected 460

lifted sitting on 35's

around how many mpg's will i be getting

i had a 73 f250 with a carberated and camed 460 2wd but i was getting about 14mpg out of it

  Maybe 8 if your lucky.

if it is fuel injected 460, that is not original. The power is puts out is unknown and that will affect the mpg. It might do pretty good. You need to know the gear ratio too to be able to try and take a guess. I would be surprised to get 12 to be honest.

It all depends on the gearing, if it's geared for power, expect less than 10 mpg,  if it has some tall gears it should get more than 10 mpg..
