Mr. Chocolate Drop to upset Grey Seal in tipstersuite.com Tipster Bot Software For Betfair Handicap at Wolverhampton
James Fanshawe’s 3-year-old Grey Seal is stepping down in, by competing in the class 6 after displaying a couple of decent shows at the higher level.
So, the bookies have everything to believe that the filly will be able to notch up first place in the tipstersuite.com Tipster Bot Software For Betfair Handicap, taking place at Wolverhampton on Monday, June 25th.
However, her chances of winning are not absolute. There are plenty of quality runners in the line-up, who can easily spoil the party for her.
Mr. Chocolate Drop looks to be the one to beat following his tremendous victory here earlier this month.
After showing a few below par performances, the 8-year-old managed to get his act together, by winning the wolverhampton-racecourse.co.uk Handicap on June 7th. The class 6 race was a massive imporvement from his previous starts.
The 5-2 favourite, Goldstorm, kept asking questions of him all the way through, but an excellent finish guided the maverick runner to a close victory.
Under Russ Kennemore, he bagged the winning prize by a neck’s distance. An outstanding victory that would have boosted his confidence to a great extent, and on the back of a brilliant victory, it will not be unwise to expect a winning effort from him today.
The going is standard for the 1m141y race, which is due to get underway at 16:45 (GMT). A cash prize of £1,704 will be pursued by 13 speedy runners including, Mr Chocolate Drop.
Grey Seal looks to be the safest option, but since she has not opened her account, there will be some pressure on her. Moreover, she is likely to struggle to adapt to the track conditions.
Ishikawa is another interesting candidate. The four-year-old was quite impressive in his second last outing at this track.
Alan King’s charge did well to grab the winning prize in the Find Us On Facebook Wolverhampton Racecourse Handicap. He has a good record here, winning two of his total four.
Grey Seal and Ishikawa are certainly two major players, but Mr Chocolate Drop is expected to build on his fresh victory, and add another triumph to the tally.
