Mr Chow ready to strike Heat 3 at Sheffield on 27th March right out of training
Competing in the Grade OR Heat 3 at Sheffield over 480 metres flat on Tuesday, 27th March are Mr Chow, Hee Haws Montana, Luminous Park, Boherna Bridge, Killahara Jewel and Stepaside Glenis.
The race offers the prize money of £200.
From among the lineup, Mr Chow, Droopys Scolari’s two-year-old black son out of b***h Flying Winner, has been trained as many times as he has raced during 2012.
On 19th January, Mr Chow was drilled over 470 metres at Belle Vue which he timed in 28.45 seconds.
His seasonal debut was on 25th January at Sheffield. He reached the other end of the wire in 30.07 seconds while leading by six lengths. He was soon followed by Kildare Tess.
Not sustaining the level of performance, Mr Chow qualified as the runner up in the next start at Monmore over 480 metres on 2nd February. He was left behind by 2 ¾ lengths while the winner, Saxon Warrior, was done with the race in 28.97 seconds.
The trainer, C. Lund thought of training the two-year-old yet again and this time Mr Chow raced over 480 metres at Monmore on 14th February. He covered the track distance in 28.59 seconds.
For a second time during the course of nearly a month, Mr Chow bagged in another victory. On 23rd February, Mr Chow won the Coral Maiden – Dup at Hove over 515 metres. He was entered as the 4/5 favourite and completed the trip in 30.41 seconds.
He was barely ¾ of a length ahead from the runner up, Broadway Fly. Following in the tracks of the runner up was Eden Rumble.
As if a paired up victory was just not meant for Mr Chow, he once more failed in the start that followed the victory.
He finished fifth in the Betfred.Com Standard Trophy – Heat 1 on 5th March at Nottingham over 500 metres. The race was won by the 6/4 favourite of the race, Romeo Patriot who took 30.39 seconds to race through the wire.
The same distance had Mr Chow racing for 31.07 seconds.
Coming fifth alerted the trainer more than ever as he trained Mr Chow twice over 480 metres at Sheffield, first on 14th March and then on 21st March.
As his history with the previous trainings reveal, he wins when he races right out of one.
