Mr Clean or Clorox Greenworks?

I just had twins about two months ago via C-Section and I am now finally just allowed to return to my normal regular activities.....so I want to do a little late "spring cleaning" in my house. Which do you think will work better for cleaning, Mr Clean multi-purpose or Clorox Greenworks multi-purpose cleaner? I will be cleaning kitchen counters, appliances, glass tabletops, and the glass on my hutch in the dining room. Also, I plan to use one of the two multi-purpose cleaners for my bathroom sink and the toilet surface. And out of the two cleaners I will be getting wipes as well for quick maintence touch ups, so which wipes do you think will work better also the clorox or Mr clean? I am a new mom and i want to have things clean the best that I can with twins so any suggestions would be greatly accepted. I have asthma and I cannot handle a ton of chemicals, but I have smelled the mr clean and it seemed ok. Which one works better in your opinion & which one do you or would you use?

  1. The Greenworks works pretty well and I feel safe using it around my 6 month old.

  2. Both clean equally well. As a professional cleaner I prefer the Greenworks as it doesn't leave my hands feeling icky.

Congrats on the babies, you are going to be busy.

I recently learned of a website that might help you out with housework now that you have a tight schedule...www.flylady.net

  3. use the greenworks

  4. I'm not a fan of the green works products although I try to always use natural products.  If you want something safe to use around the kids try Mrs. Meyers, it costs more but last 3 times as long. Green works still contains artificial color and fragrance so it's not totally natural.  If you just want a good cleaner go with the Mr.Clean.

  5. The Clorox smells prettier.

  6. I have 2 babies and I switched from commercial cleaners to non toxic homemade ones. my multi purpose cleaner is now a spray bottle filled with water, rubbing alcohol (to disinfect) and a little drop or 2 of ivory dishsoap. it works great. I use lots of baking soda and vinegar. I also have sensitive lungs like you and I find that all the storebought stuff irritates my lungs. I also put essential oils in my cleaners for fragrance. I've heard that using toxic junk to clean around the kids can give them allergies and athsma.

there's loads of sites out there with homemade cleaner recipes. very easy and dont take any time. they're so cheap they're almost free.

    just google "homemade cleaner recipes"

my house is really clean and I have not used a storebought cleaning product in over a year, not even on my oven.

  7. clorox greenworks
