Mr. WrestleMania Shawn Michaels talks about returning to the ring – WWE News
Shawn Michaels, Mr. WrestleMania and Hall of Famer, spoke to ESPN Radio’s ‘Fantasy Baseball Focus’ podcast expressing his views over a possible ring return. Michaels, who has been spending his retirement life since the last two years, said that he would
be back in the ring as a special guest referee for the match between Triple H and The Undertaker. However, he said he is not sure if he will be able to share the spotlight with the Deadman and The Game.
Here is what he said when he was asked if he is interested in joining WWE once again:
“No. I haven't been. I'm at a phenomenal place in my life. There's a chance - I can tell you here that I'm going to try to be objective, but then you get out there and then I'm in a conflict with myself - I'm Mr. Hall of Fame and I'm Mr. WrestleMania and
I'm so used to having the spotlight on me - am I going to be able to share it with these other two guys? That is a lot to put on a man," Michaels said, being playful at the end. Michaels also joked that he'll have to review the h**l in a Cell rulebook, but
at least he can still count to three. "My children help me out with that on a regular basis.”
According to Michaels, his Outdoor Channel show, his family and his special WWE appearances have been keeping him busy. He further said that if he joins the WWE again as a pro wrestler then he will be in a conflict with himself, since he is already a Hall
of Famer wrestler.
He appreciated The Rock and John Cena for creating a feud that the fans have enjoyed a lot. He said that sometimes he feels that the WWE has lost its charm but when he sees wrestlers like The Rock and John Cena entertaining fans, he knows it is still there.
Michaels again said that even though he has loved the WWE always, he does not plan on being in the ring anymore especially for fighting.
