Mr. clean magic eraser, safe on walls?

i just got mr. clean magic erasers and used 1 on my wall it had like i guess graphite on them that was smudged, on the wall well i used it and it sorta smeared will it be gone when its dry , but the paint wont come off right?? thanxxx

o yea the wall is just paint , nothing like wood or anything

  1. No it doesn't damage walls. My mom uses it all the time to get pencil marks and finger and hand prints off the walls. Just keep scrubbing and it should come all the way off.

  2. the same thing happened with mine...it says its ok on walls but the paint came off

  3. It's an abrasive, so if you go crazy, yes it can take paint off.   It can also change the sheen (for example making a shiny spot in a satin paint).

  4. I say try again, it should come off.  I use it to get my 5 year old's art off our walls.  It even took Sharpie marks off the wood on a rocking chair and base boards.

  5. it wont take paint off. but it will take dry wall off, or whatever that white stuff is called that you put on your walls when you dont want to paint them. its this weird white stuff.

  6. try it again- it should come off with the magic eraser, not the paint unless you are scrubbing real hard!
