Mrs Brown’s Boy favourite for British Stallion Studs Supporting British Racing E B F Novice Stakes
Mrs Brown’s Boy is expected to win the British Stallion Studs Supporting British Racing E B F Novice Stakes at Chepstow in England on Friday, June 15, 2012. A cash prize of £4,399 will be awarded to the winner of the class-4 event.
Speed will be important in the 6 furlong 16 yard race, which is scheduled to start at 18:05 GMT. Furthermore, the going will be soft and a total of six runners will be seen in action. Their names are as follows: Mrs Brown’s Boy, Birdman, Beedee, Ishi Honest,
Fortinbrass and Walter White.
The track conditions will definitely suit Mrs Brown’s Boy more than anyone else. He does not have a lot of experience, but that will not matter much, as all of his opponents are relative new to the sport.
The two-year-old colt has participated in a couple of races and his performances in them very extremely good. He was phenomenal on his debut, as he stormed to a victory by three lengths, despite not being rated as the favourite to win.
However, the Ronald Harris’ trainee was unable to repeat such a solid show in his next outing, as he finished third in it. The result was still not bad for him, as he was up against some quality runners that time around.
Although Mrs Brown’s Boy is not carrying the winning momentum right now, he will definitely attract a lot of bets from the punters. He will be partnered by seasoned jockey, Cathy Gannon, who has a poor strike rate. His recent form has also been below par,
thus he will be eying a big improvement today.
The bettors might also risk some money in favour of Birdman, who is carrying the winning momentum at the moment. He has participated in a couple of races, winning one of them whereas finishing third in the other.
However, the David Simcock’s trainee might not manage to take the top spot in the race at Chepstow today, as the conditions do not suit his running style. He will be partnered by Martin Lane, who has enjoyed a lot of success at this level. However, he is
not consistent at all, which will discourage the punters to risk money on him.
