  1. add the two measure-ments together and then Multiply by 2.

    21+15 = 36

    (two sets of sides to form the total shape) = 36 x2 is  72.

    circumference of the shape.

    north side ....21

    east side .....15

    south side ....21

    west side .....15

    =                     72.

    to measure the Area (inside of the shape) you would Multiply the 2 measurements by each other.

    21 x15 = 315.                                              :>)

  2. MULTIPLY!

    15

    x21

    15

    +30

    the answer is 45! (ft. that is!)

  3. How many sides of her BACKyard is Mrs O'Dell going to fence?

    If she's fencing all four sides the answer is: is 72 feet.

    21ft + 21ft + 15ft + 15ft = 72 feet.

    If she's only doing 3 sides the answer is: 57 feet.

    21ft + 21ft + 15ft = 57 feet.

  4. If you need to find perimeter, following is applicable:

    P=2(l+w)=2(21+15)=72 feet

    P.S: This task is easy(unless you are beginning of 2nd grade)

  5. well is it a rectangle? need to know in order to get the right answer. need more info.

  6. perimeter= (length x 2) + (width x 2)

    perimeter= (21 x 2) + (15 x 2)

    perimeter= 42 + 30

    perimeter= 72 ft

  7. lets assume the yard is a rectangle, so we would have two sides at 21ft, which equals 42ft,  and two sides at 15ft which equals 30 ft, total fence length 72ft.
