Ms. Cordelia ready to land a victory in the Yellowstone Environmental Services Ltd Mares´ Maiden Hurdle at Fontwell
Eleven runners will compete today in the Yellowstone Environmental Services Ltd Mares' Maiden Hurdle at Fontwell, on 3rd April, 2012. The race will be run over 2 miles, 2 furlongs and 110 yards for the purse of £2,014.
Tweedledrum looks in the best possible form for hurdles, but she will be competing against some of the best runners. Today, she will be competing against Bold Tara, Polly’s Star, Scarlett O’ Tara, Wychwoods Mist, Compassion, Dulcemara, Highcliffe,
Miss Exhibitionist, Ms. Cordelia and Ninfea.
The daughter of Beat Hollow, out of mare Tweed Mill, finished as a runner-up in the 32Red Novices' Hurdle at Kempton, on 17th March, 2012. Paired with rider, A.P. Cawley, she was defeated by 1 ¼ lengths by Right Step.
She finished second in the penultimate last race of 2011. Under the same jockey, she was held-up towards the rear, but made steady headway.

Despite her best efforts, she fell 8 lengths short of the victory to, Kaffie, in the Children's Hospice South West Mares' Novices' Hurdle at Exeter on 15th December, 2011.
Ms. Cordelia is likely to give Tweedledrum a good run for her money. The daughter of Anabaa, out of mare Gingivere, bagged a victory in the end of the previous season.

Under jockey, Anthony Caramanolis, she entered the Prix Victor Et Luc Nolf (Claimer) (Turf) (Fillies) at Le Croise-laroche on 23rd November, 2011.
She raced with the odds of 5 to 1 and defeated, Purple Davis, by a narrow margin of a head. She raced with a steady pace, maintained her composure and performed well under pressure.
Trained by David Pipe, for owner, Raymond Tooth, she started her season with the status of evening’s favourite. Mounted by jockey, Tom Scudamore, she was held at the back of the pack, but regained her speed.

Her effort was not enough to notch her victory, as she fell behind by an enormous margin of 6 lengths after Countess Comet, in the Theconistonhotel.com Mares' Novices' Hurdle at Catterick on 7th March, 2012.
Ms. Cordelia’s record is far more impressive than Tweedledrum’s. With her consistency and placed finishes, she may land a victory in the race.

She is in good form ready to challenge the rest of the competitors. Tweedledrum may finish as a runner-up, but if luck is on her side, she may emerge victorious.
