Msn is still on my computer but I cant run it ?

Question

I uninstalled windows live messenger from my computer but its telling me its still on it and its using memory and I keep getting updates popping up.

I cant use it and I want to download a new msn but I cant because the old one is still on the computer

When I try to uninstall it to download a new one its says I cant because the area it came from no longer exists can someone help me please?
