Mt Leinster Bob predicted to ace the Belle Vue race
The race at Belle Vue on 15 February, 2012, is creating excitement among the fans. The Grade A2 race will be run over as distance of 470 meters.
The winner will receive prize money of £76. The runners competing in this race are Mt Leinster Bob, Whipidewhip, Boozed Celeb, Zigzag Punch, Dacent Alonso, and Telmarcs Blue.
Mt Leinster Bob has had an impressive career so far, and is a favourite for this race. It is speculated that he will be the pacesetter, and gain distance early in the race.
Punters and bookies are setting bets on him as his performance has been outstanding. His odds of winning this race are 5 to 2.
D J F Hampson, trainer of Mt Leinster Bob, is optimistic about his form and performance. Mt Leinster continues to go through vigorous training and exercises to build up his strength.
Mt Leinster Bob is the son of Honcho Classic, out of Mt Leinster Beck. He finished 1st at Belle Vue on 4 February, 2012 defeating, Whipidewhip, by 3 lengths in an impressive time of 28.49 seconds.
He also finished 1st on 19 January, 2012, defeating, Coll Touch in 15.82 seconds over a distance of 260 meters.
Whipidewhip is currently in outstanding form as well. K A Harris, his trainer, is proud of his performance, but hopes that he keeps on improving. It is predicted that he will zoom past the other racers, and gain momentum swiftly.
Whipidewhip's performance has been consistent this year as he finished twice as a runner-up, both held at Belle Vue. On 4 February, 2012, he finished 2nd to Mt Leinster Bob, falling 3 lengths behind.
On February 10, 2012, he finished 2nd to, Noirs Memory, ¾ of a length adrift of the winner, this time missing the finish line narrowly.
Boozed Celeb has also been in terrific shape. He has not secured a first place in February as he finished 3rd on 4 February and 5th on February 10, both races were held at Belle Vue. This race might
be his first of the month.
Zigzag Punch is predicted to gain speed after a slow start. He managed to secure first position by defeating, Bees Bees Domino, by 1 ½ lengths on 2 February, 2012 in 28.31 seconds.
Dacent Alonso and Telmarcs Blue are the under-dogs as they have not secured top positions this month as well.
Greyhound racing fans are looking forward to this race. The performance of the hounds is a proof that the trainers have been working diligently. A huge crowd will assemble to watch this race, cheering for their favourite and offering words of encouragement.
