Mtx vs alpine?

ok i was having an argument with someone i no and i was wondering if anyone could help me out... ok considering that they both have the perfect enclosure and amp which would be better 2 alpine type r or two mtx 9500

Use the facts and specs, not personal opinion.

Alpine Type R's are very overrated. I HATE my friends system and he has three of them.

MTX is a better audio brand when it comes to subwoofers and amplifiers. After that, Alpine takes the cake.

JL Audio all around...can't be beat.

MTX 9500's.  A better and fairer comparison question would be the 2 Alpine Type X's vs. 2 MTX 9500's.

i would say the mtx thunder, come on with a name like that it has to make noise, haha but seriously i would go with the mtx, more power and better name for subs

You did not state as to what they would be better for.  So to just post favoritism or hype on one brand over another is pointless.  Find out what you are after first then address the company choice.
