  1. No, but in most muay thai fighters cases they start very you as young as 3 yrs old, but yes if your disiplined and take instructions well, well you should be set.

  2. nah you will be fine and you arnt to old. also it doesnt matter how fast you can learn mauy thai is actually really simple. you can learn every technique from mauy thai in 2 classes. you probably wont but you can i know this because my instructor was a mauy thai instructor.

  3. Age?  Not a problem, many people don't start training until they are much older than you.

Background?  Again, no problem.  Each martial art is designed to take someone with zero knowledge of the art and teach them all the way through expert.

You will be fine.  Go for it.

  4. i started when i was 18...though i did have some background in other stuff

anyways no its never too late. 19 is relatively young. i mean of course some people start younger but you'll be ok. i know a guy from my gym started boxing at 30 and did pretty good with 7months training in golden gloves so stay dedicated and go for it

  5. perfect go for it. but i would recommend that you cross train from muay thai to brazilian jiu jitsu (gracie jiu jitsu).

brazilian jiu jitsu (gracie jiu jitsu) is the best. watch this vid

  6. Muay Thai is actually much more simple than most martial arts. It gets its power from simplicity.
