Muay Thai on long Island is no good?

Question

One of my Martial arts instructors told me that they don't teach Muay Thai on long Island right. Is this true.

Also where would be the best place on the north east coast to learn Muay thai

I don't know about any of the schools on the list, but if you're willing to travel into the city, I'd recommend The Wat.

It's a great gym with great facilities, instruction, and a pretty good selection of classes. GSP trained there for the last Serra fight.

It's not too bad price wise either. $160/month unlimited, or $25/class.

There is no place in the entire U.S that teaches the right muay thai. The muay thai that is taught in the U.S is the small fragment of mauy thai that was made to prevent others from dying in competitions. The only place to go that will teach you the true form of muay thai is thailand. Its in thailand cause it was made there.

given the popluation density in that area of the country it seems unlikely that you couldnt find good muy thai on long island.

perhaps your instructor is worried about losing you as a student?
