Are there any variations to the hard bone training method using bananas?

What work outs should you do to prepare for muay thai?

  1. fighters in thailand kick banana trees to deaden the nerves, i know guys rubbing beer bottles up and down their shins to do this and kick heavy bags.

  3. You don't need to do any of these g*y things to toughen up your shins like kicking banana trees.

    The main reason you would see a thai kicking a tree in thailand is because the poor b*****d can't afford a heavy bag!

    You can properly and safely condition your shins using bags and taking kicks by your partner.

    You don't really need to do any workouts to prepare for joining muay thai, but having good cardio and being fairly flexible would be a great start. Try running and and skipping rope. As for flexibility you can start training and then work on your problems once you realize what they are.

  4. If you want to get into Muay Thai, start on your cardio. Them start working on groin flexibility.  Then go to a Muay Thai gym.
