Muay thai vs. western boxing?

Muay Thai.  In western boxing you use only your hands.  In Muay Thai you use hands, elbows, knees and feet; as well as joint locks and grappling.  Muay Thai is a vastly superior fighting system.

elbows and knees inflict more damage. if you're close enough to punch, you're close enough to knee/elbow...either case you're also close enough to  be punched/kicked/grabbed (though kicks give you a little more range, but you can still be kicked)...if you have to defend yourself, you want to hit hard, fast, and first. Muay thai is better for that.

Any thing can happen in a real life situation.

But Muay Thai has more "weapons" for example: fists, elbows, Knees, and Kicks.

Boxing has only fists

So in conclusion Muay Thai would adapt easier in a real life situation because of its versitility and variety and its ability to adapt.  Howvever it is all in the person using it though.  If the person does not know not to adapt then he/she is screwed.

Boxers only have a jab, cross, L R hook, L R uppercut how can that beat all that plus multiple strikes from back-fist, elbows, knees and kicks plus stand up grappling trips and throws they also use their skills to attack your body from head to toe and have so many different kicks, elbows etc it amounts to 100s of strikes and techniques imagine all that coming your way high, mid and low straight from the L, from the R, from below, even from above with strikes like an axe kick or downwards elbow, so in muay thai pretty much anything happens anyway.    I HOPE THIS ANSWERS YOUR QUESTION
