This is going to sound really discusting and im really sorry.

But I am 26 weeks pregnant and keep passing really really thick white jelly like discharge.

What does a 'show' actually look like? Is it normal to pass this much discharge so soon?

  1. A show tends to be dark brown / blood stained mucus...... I think what your expereincing is normal EWCM kinda stuff...... just keep an eye on it and mention to your midwife when you next see her, though if you start experiencing any pain, contact your GP immediately.......

  2. Discharge is normal through pregnancy I wouldn't worry especially if it doesn't have a smell and you arent having any pain.. Mention it to your doctor. and perhaps request another PAP smear but its pretty normal I think.  I had it all through my last pregnancy.  But the show actually is very clear and looks just like snot with a bit of colour sometimes, yellowish and such.

  3. Just keep an eye on it and you should call your doctor to let them know.

It is possible to loose it that soon.

you could loose your mucus plug up to 2 weeks or more before birth. It all depends on your body. But you should let your doctor know.

  4. If it was a show it would be tinged with blood, it looks slightly pinkish and there can be a lot of it.

It is normal for pregnancy to have jellyish discharge  that happened  to me and I was shocked, i thought something was wrong with me lol.  In fact i maybe even convinced myself my partner had cheated on me (me pregnant and paranoid...never hahaha) But there wasn't and he hadn't.  If you are at all worried just speak to your midwife and she will check you out and put your mind at rest.

  5. No this isn't your show, this is normal for your stage in pregnancy. I was induced so I had my "show" in the hospital and it was a LOT of yellowish clear discharge with traces of blood in it.

  6. iv just started gettin a jelly discharge my midwife said its normel round now x
