The Pakistani cricketing fraternity comes out with yet another headliner after the country’s former legend and batting maestro, Mudassar Nazar, revealed that the ex-spearhead, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Aaqib-Javed-c41431, should be taken on as the next coach of the Pakistani Cricket team.
The former cricketer made his statement following the recent stepping down of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Waqar-Younis-Maitla-c96193 as the mentor of the national squad, according to Waqar, he stepped down due to personal and health issues.
However, looking at what the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has been serving the much disappointed audience; many other reasons surface the affair leaving out health or personal matters as not the only causes for Waqar’s retirement.
Giving it a reality check, with the pending return of heartthrob cricketer and former skipper http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Ijaz-Butt-c64128,
developed some issues with Afridi following his return from a successful Tour to http://www.senore.com/Cricket/West-Indies-c760.
At the same time, another reason for Waqar’s resignation comes after the former star fast bowler was forced into being left alone by the Board, which took away all the staff that had been supporting Waqar with his duties as the Pakistani team’s coach.
As for Javed being the likely candidate as Pakistan’s next coach, according to reports, Nazar stated “I have a lot of faith in Aaqib Javed as he has come through the Pakistani system. He's been working in different roles for nearly the last 10 years. He's
a d**n good coach and I think they should appoint Aaqib as coach. I'd be happy if he was given the role, providing you give him some support with a batting coach”.
However, at the same time, Nazar also stated that he is also ready to accept a non-Pakistani as the team’s next mentor, as long as the instructor is fit for the job. Nazar went on to add that the country is currently going through a fierce political and
economic turmoil which, and in reality, would be a tough part for a foreigner to be residing in Pakistan.
