my aunt told me that she had bought the muffin pan but turns out she left it at the store. I already mixed the mix though and i have aluminum foil pans and the baking cups

So i was wondering if i could put the baking cups in the aluminum foil pans. But will that make the muffins come out burnt???

  1. sometimes I use a round cake pan and it turns out the same just check cooking time will be different.  a little longer

  2. muffin mix and quick bread mix are the same thing.  In would put it in a bread pan and slice it.  I do that quite often.

  3. Ya i'm pretty sure it won't burn them

but just in case cook them a little shorter then normal and if not done then put back in oven for longer

  4. The baking cups will not hold their shape and are likely to spill over into the pan. Since you already have the mix made, why not just put it in a cake pan or baking pan. You can always slice it like cake or cut it into squares for serving. All you have to do is adjust your baking time. It will take 25 to 30 minutes instead of 15 to 20 minutes.

  5. JUST BAKE IT IN THE PAN, AND CUT INTO SQUARES WHEN IT'S DONE

  6. If the recipe makes 12 muffins, bake it in a 9x9 pan, if it's 24 then use a 9x13 pan.  It will take longer so count on 25 minutes at least.  Paper cups will not hold up when not supported by the muffin pan.
