ALI is the most immersive fighter ever !!!! As an athlete and a real person I think yes by far Ã¢Â€Â¦.. every one that have studied honestly boxing and sports mast admit that it is a fact .

But the new legend in heavyweight boxing is klitschko ,pls comment on this .

  How about the best athlete being the one who excelled at the

most sports?  Jim Thorpe immediately comes to mind.  He may have

been the best football player of his time.  He also was an

Olympic champion in the decathlon which requires a number of

individual skills.  And he also played major league baseball for

several years.  He was not a great baseball player, but he did

hit 320 one year.

Well, he could take punishment and he dominated but as far as athlete, he was no Jordan, running around for 48 straight minutes, strategy decisions, supporting teamates, Ali just kind of threw his arms at people and avoided the arms being thrown at him.

Oh yeah Lance Armstrong, that guy could just pedal for years couldn't he.
