  1. The town is called Muelheim an der Ruhr, located in the former industrial area of North Rhine-Westphalia called the "Ruhrgebiet" between Essen and Duisburg.

    The northern part of the town is all of urban character. You may not even notice the city-limit when going to Essen or Oberhausen; the southern part however is of more rural character, especially the Ruhr valley. You can drive by passenger boats on the Ruhr from Mülheim Wasserbahnhof to Essen-Kettwig and change to other boats operating on the "Baldeney Lake".

    Teachers in Mülheim are like anywhere else in the world, either to like them, then they're o.k., or you hate them...
