Muller: Bayern exit a possibility

The Germany International has refused to rule out a move away from Bayern Munich, in search of regular football.

The 22-year old was an integral part of Louis Van Gaal's side. Following the Dutchamn's sacking, Muller drifted away from the first team. Fierce competition for places at the Bavarian club left the German starlet with only 34 appearances
last season.
It is believed that the youngster might be interested in a summer move in search of regular football, if his current club is unable to guarantee him first team football. Muller himself admits that he is too ambitious to be benched
in big games.
"I'm the type of player who will deal with this like a professional and will try to help the team. However, I will not happily accept being benched in big games regularly. I'm too ambitious for that” he is quoted to have said in
an interview.
Inter Milan are thought be chasing the attacker's signature and want to acquire him before the start of the new campaign. Muller, on the other hand, will not let the rumours distract him, as he focuses on the European Championship,
where his side locks horns with Portugal in the opening fixture of the Group of Death. He also admits that he will consider offers from other clubs.
"I am solely focusing on the upcoming Euro at the moment. Everybody knows that Bayern have always been my club, so I'm not really thinking about moving on. However, I'm not in a situation at Bayern where I won't listen to offers,"
he added.
The youngster is a product of the Bavarian club’s youth academy and broke into the national team at a tender age of 20. He was a permanent fixture in Joachim Low’s side that reached the semi-finals of the 2010 World Cup.
Recent acquisition of Xherdan Shaqiri by Bayern would further push him towards the exit door. If the striker decides to inform other clubs of his availability, there will be plenty of clubs lining up for his signature and could
spark a bidding war.
However, it is unlikely that Bayern Munich would let their youth product and a player of Muller’s quality leave so early in his career and possible suitors would have tempt them with unrealistic bids.
