Bayern Munich attacking midfielder Thomas Muller has stressed that his approach to the game is being effective rather than putting on a show. He claimed that he does not know many tricks and tries to play efficiently to help his
side. He admitted that he prefers simple football in favour of flashy and eye-pleasing performances with no results.
The young prodigy has been in great run of form this season, and has scored nine goals already along with seven assists in 16 league games so far. He feels that his effective game-play is the sole reason for his brilliant displays
for Der FCB.
The 23-year-old stated that whenever a fan urges him to showboat in front of him, he just says that he does not know any tricks. He further added that children want to see you display some skills with the ball, juggling, doing
all kinds of stuff with the ball, but he admitted that this was never his cup of tea.
"Whenever I go somewhere and a little child asks me to show some tricks, I have to say: 'I don't know any tricks! They always want to see some kind of wizardry, ball-juggling, turning around four times, that kind of thing. But
this never was my speciality,” he mused.
The starlet suggested that his style of play is very direct and does not involve showboating. He revealed that he is not the kind of player that the public will enjoy watching in a match, as he is a team player.

"My game is based on efficiency. I'm not a player who is enjoyable to watch for 90 minutes. I am more of a team player, a player who is important for the whole team and goes after the result. I do not play to put on a great show," he added.
Muller conceded that he always wants the best result for his side and is a very crucial part of the Bayern squad.
