Mullpark Star wins 4th Leg Pick 6 Jackpot at Yarmouth
Starting as a favourite hound with 5 to 2 starting price, Mullpark Star turned to be the unchallenged protagonist on January 18, when she clinched the title of 4thLeg Pick 6 Jackpot racing event with a mammoth margin of 5 lengths at Yarmouth
track.
The blue and white b***h badly browbeat her competitors including Ullid Messi, Make Change, Tulla Rose, Wilsham Girl and Galtee Georgia.
None of the dashing b***h’s opponents dared to challenge her, and from the beginning till the end Mullpark Star ran home free to win the 462m Grade A2 race.
Standing in trap 3, Mullpark Star seemed to be desperately waiting for the break call which came at 20:41. The daughter of Storetodoor Star started fervently and made a few long jumps to take lead from the get go.
On every step, the brilliant b***h increased her speed, maintaining very safe distance from the back runners. With unnerved speed and stamina, the trainee of J Green finally reached the finish line in 28.44 seconds.
The young racer achieved the top spot after a long gap of at least six races. She last ended up with this rank on October 24, 2011. Whelped in February 2010, she commenced her career in June, 2011.
The last night’s performance by the b***h was remarkable. It impressed both the spectators and gamblers alike.
Ullid Messi was the hound to finish second in the race. Breaking from trap 2, the white and black dog took 28.83 seconds to complete the distance. The dog stared well, but bumped in the middle as a result the hound lagged behind. Getting slowed down
once, he wasn’t able to increase his speed again.
Whelped in August 2008, the son of Big Daddy Cool made his debut in December, 2010. He is trained by P J White, who seemed to be a bit disappointed yesterday, over his dog’s inability to fight with confidence.
Make Change accomplished third spot in the race by finishing in 28.97 seconds, lagging 1 ¾ lengths behind. The daughter of Rough Venture is trained by I J Barnard. This racer was also whelped in August, 2008.
The winner earned £88, while each of the other five runners got £23. As a whole, the event was enjoyed much by the local spectators.
