Is Flavivirus (the scientific name for the virus that causes yellow fever, West Nile Virus, etc.) multi-cellular, single celled, or not a cell and is it a eukaryote or a prokaryote?

  1. viruses are neither procaryotes nor eucaryotes. they need a living cell for nourishment. so it is not a cell also. viruses contain genetic material(DNA or RNA) packed inside a protein coat.


  2. Viruses are not living therefore it cannot be a cell.
