Question:

Multimeter problem. it doesn`t work!! emergency, please!?

oh...i really need my multimeter for tomorrow.

and just some minutes ago i wanted to measure resistance of a resistor , so i joined the two wires to the sides of resistor and turn on the multimeter(the indicator was in the voltage part.)and there was nothing showed on the screen. like it is off.

i tried the batteries ,but they were all right.

is this problem caused by what i have done??

i don`t know why i didn`t read the colours!

  1. Switch it from volts to the little upside down horseshoe looking thingy.


  2. Multimeter = Car

    Schematic = Roadmap

    If you don't know where you're going, any road will get you there.

  3. All of multimeters have a fuse. Seems you blew that, open your multimeter's case and change that.
