Multiple Antivirus Programs Running?

Question

I`m running windows xp and recently my av program became unsupported. So I purchased Norton 360 and installed before I uninstalled the previous protection. Now neither will uninstall. Any ideas other than the obvious( remove/change or unistall in programs)

Have you called Norton or the other AV company?

go to the location where the anti-virus was installed and delete it manually....

you can also start your computer in safe mode and uninstall it using add/remove programs in the control panel
