I've been knitting for a few years but never with multiple colors. I'd like to learn. Does anyone know of a good book or website to get me started in the right direction?

  1. Here's a link to a simple article that may be useful.  I use search engines a lot to find information. Go to:

    http://knitting.about.com/od/knittingski...

    Happy Knitting

  2. http://www.knittingdaily.com has some really good explainations for how to do these things. Not really videos, but good written instructions.

Free site, but must register to download patterns. Patterns in .pdf for easy downloading and they are so cool!

Look for the FaireIsle Knitting patterns and instructions.

Multi color knitting means lots of little bobbins of yarn to get really tangled. Teaches patience!!!

  3. Knitting in Plain English, by Maggie Righetti is a great starter and reference book.

If you haven't joined Ravelry, go, now. It is absolutely the BEST place for help and advice for all things yarn.

    http://www.ravelry.com

  4. You can try searching the marthastewart.com.  She promotes knitting.  Once you register (free), you can even ask her craft staff a question.  Receive the best advice from the best!  Great for you to want to try something new!

  5. Try this I hope it helps.
