Question:

Multiple Format DVD Player?

I want to know if any one of you know of a place I could go to buy a DVD player that plays multiple film formats, not just the U.S. and Canada's NTSC but also PAL/SECAM, found in Europe. The reason is that I want to buy a Spanish version of Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas, but the web sites I could order it from only have copies available in PAL format. Any feedback would be helpful. No wise guy comments please.

  2. yes defenitely ,

just give a look at ICONIC DVD Player. you will find all the required features in it. it is heavly loaded with features at reasonable price.

  3. well since you are buying a new DVD player - you might as well get a good one that upconverts good too - if money allows -

i have an Oppo 981  -  its not the cheapest of the bunch but plays about 99% of dvds -  check there website -

www.oppodigital.com - but before you even look for a spanish version - i am not sure but maybe it may have spanish audio in that movie - in which case you can get the normal version of that dvd and just pick spanish for audio

i find that most dvds have spanish audio already there - not all of them - but its very common - so you may want to check that first before buying a new Dvd player -

if you dont want to spend that much on a player such as the oppo - you can take a look at Philips - i got one which worked pretty decent with Reg. dvds - i needed one to hold me over -  i think it was model 5982 - you can check there website also -  that one just cost $60 - at CC or BB - or even online -    hope this helps
