So I fell on my bike today and the only thing near me to brace my fall was a wood fence I reached out to grab. Well, here I am typing with about 1000 splinters in my hands. It is really painful and I need something to take them out. Most are very small and would be hard to twese them all out, plus it would take about a year. Any suggestions of things to soak my hand in, wait it out and spray lanecane on it or any other ideas to help would be great.

  1. Try melting some wax in a sauce pan and wait till it is cool enough to put your hand in but before it hards make sure it covers your whole hand and pull it out to cool.. let it form a hard glove and the slowly peel it off in pieces.. this might not get them all out but it will defiently help. If it doesnt I highly suggest going to the hospital, all though it seems stupid to go fo splinters if you have that many and cannot get them out you have a high chance of infection.

  2. yes soking your hands in warm water softens the skin, also if you add salt,it's healing,Try using a needel to break the skin above the splinter then squezze it out a little, then use twezzers,if you have trouble using a needle you can make TINY insision with a razor to release the splinters
