  1. It's fine, lots of people do it.

  2. how would you pull it off?

  3. It does seem a little bizarre, but i think it's ok to do it. I've heard a lot of people do that now.

  4. No, one best man, the rest groomsmen. If you really can't choose or don't want to choose one special friend for best man, just have them all be groomsmen.

  5. Hello there, first I want to let you know this is a great question. I am a mobile Disc Jockey and have seen many Weddings with more than one "Best Men".  The tricky part is who will be first to toast both you and your new bride? I know that is a hard choice to make but I do have a suggestion? During the Ceremony chose one of your guys to stand by you at the alter and who is responsible to hand you her ring, During the Reception have the other B.M start the toast.  But do ask the other Bridal Party Attendants if they are going to want to say a few words also.  Good Luck and Congratulation's!!!!!

  6. I think it is an absolutely fabulous and splendid idea.  Why, how creative of you to think of this?  And, when the best man dances with the bride, they can share the joy, perhaps a three some!  And, they can both throw a bachelor party for you so that you can get drunk on your a$$ two times, and s***w strippers twice.  I think this is fab.

  7. My borther got married last year and he had three best men and it worked fine. The wedding was really fun and the three of them did a speech together - taking it in turn to speak.

  8. Traditionally there is ONE "Best Man" and perhaps a number of Groomsmen.

The new habit of appointing several Best Men is often due to the avoiding the having to declare one person as a preference to others.

Unlike Bridesmaid duties those of Best Man are fairly easily accomplished. Normally the duties are limited to :

    1/ Arranging the Buck's night,

2/ Ensuring the Groom arrives at the wedding on time,

3/ Paying for the rental of their tuxedos (or similar garb) OR -- if the wedding couple pay for this -- providing a suitable gift in lieu.

In VERY traditional interpretations of the Best Man role other duties occur. These include :

a/ The Best Man MUST be single. This is because if the Groom doesn't arrive, absconds or is too incapacitated to attend the wedding, the Best Man marries the Bride in his place to save her honour.

b/ As the marriage is not considered valid until consummated, the wedding night s*x must be witnessed by close associates like the Best Man and head Bridesmaid. (Nowadays a video would suffice!)

Consider the problems of multiple husbands or witness's if there are numerous Best Men -- indeed a little bizarre.

Thus a careful choice is wise.
