    1.b, he just can't stand be looked down upon anymore.

    2.I believe c. He ends up not doing anything at the end. No enlistment or stuff.

    Weather descriptions:

    I don't remember what chapter it was but look for the one where Gene looks out his window and sees snow falling on the ground. Its somewhere after Phineas comes back to the dorm.

    -There is a description about summer in either chapter 3 or 4

    -the Fall description starts at chapter 6
