  1. if its a fungal infection, u will find a cottony growth called mycelia. in that case u cn spray it with any copper sulfate containing antifungal

if its due to pale colour, its due to lesss light, the condition being called etiolation

  2. Maybe they didnt have enough light in those white spots

  3. Sounds like some kind of fungus. Ask at your local nursey

and find out what you can do or google plant fungus and

    see what comes up.

  4. Your plants have one of two things going on:

If you have recently applied fertlizer/a chemical/etc and it is only on the top of the leaf:  it is residue from the chemical that you applied.

If it is through the leaf (upper and underside) or you haven't applied anything:

--an irregularly-shaped white mark indicates that you have a leaf miner problem.

--if you live near a large metropolitan area and the plants that they are showing up on are more tender, it is an effect of air pollution.

--if not one of the above: it is Septoria cucurbitacearum, a fungal infection that is within the leaf (why you cannot feel it on the outside).   Initially it appears as spots which turn beige or white in color.  After a few weeks, pycnidia (small black-pepper-like spots) appear inside the leaf and stem lesions.  The best way to treat this is with Bravo, a type of fungicide that you can find at your local garden center.
