Mumbai Indians shred defending champions Chennai Super Kings in the opening match of the IPL - Cricket News Roundup – Part 1 – April 05, 2012
In the opening match of the fifth edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Mumbai-c820 Indians ripped apart the defending champions Chennai Super Kings as they won the match by eight wickets with 19 deliveries to spare.

Then while chasing, Mumbai opener http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Richard-Levi-c2315 left the crowd awestruck as he led the run chase by giving a stupendous performance with the bat as he smacked an innings of 50 runs, and was later named as the Player of the Match for playing an important role in helping his team reach the required target in 16.5 overs.

In the video, a calm Amir speaking in clear English said, “Don't make the mistakes which I did. I was stupid I didn't tell anybody because I didn't have coverage. If someone comes to you go straight to team management and ICC team."
Amir said that the spot-fixing issue had ruined his life and he warned players to inform authorities if and when they are approached by bookies.

“It is not a typical Chennai wicket. We started well but we didn't do well in the last overs, so it was a rusty start for the tournament. We did well though with the bowling," Dhoni said after the match.
Dhoni commended the performance of Mumbai Indians opener Richard Levi "I felt it was better to bat when we batted and there was something for fast bowlers as well later on but (Richard) Levi batted very well.”
