Mumbai shoppers! plz help! linking road!!!?

Does linking road still have street side shops or not? i'm wondering because the foll link states these shops have been removed......

i know such things have happened before but the shops kept coming back......and i hope the shops are there again! plz help! i really want to shop there!

also, if someone can tell me the difference between fashion street and linking road? i mean what stuff is found at each of these 2 places?

fashion street has really cheap clothing compared to normal retail stores, its usual bulk rejects or surplus goods. some people find it trendy, i dont.

linking road has everything from pirated dvds/cds/games to clothes.
